HISTORY
In Business since 1977, Milano took its start in the world of Fashion Apparel. The very first Customers were from the highly quality conscious Japanese market. By the mid 80’s Milano was an established name supplying Ladies and Men’s Garments to brand labels in Japan and Europe. Milano has won numerous awards for its outstanding performance in exports during the last 40 years.
Milano diversified into the Interiors and Home Furnishings Business in 1985, to cater to the demands of our Customers. Our Home Furnishings Business has grown steadily and today Milano manufactures a wide range of Home Furnishing products as well as Woven Garments.
WHY MILANO?
Milano has its Factory at Chennai and offices in Bangalore and New Delhi. All these offices and factory are equipped with design capabilities and the latest machinery, operated by a highly motivated and skilled manpower team to meet the requirements of our quality conscious customers.
Milano has built up excellent skills and design capabilities over the last 40 years. We have a team of creative and highly experienced designers who have worked with international designers for Garments and Home Furnishings.
Milano has team of artisans who excel in embroidery, both hand and machine, which are highly appreciated worldwide. Our work force has been trained for a long period of time, and today we have a strong team of 400 dedicated craftsmen. Our stitching techniques are recognized at par with USA, European and Japanese standards.
Milano deals in all kinds of Handloom and mill made fabrics. We source a wide variety of Cotton, Silks, Polyesters, Linen Fabrics, Blended fabrics from very reputed and established fabric manufacturers all over India.
We are recognized for our fabulous design, techniques, quality and timely deliveries, and are Graded 9.7 by one of our biggest customers M/S William Sonoma Home.
Our Core strength lies in sourcing all kinds of Fabrics Cottons, Silks, Polyesters, Linen and blended fabrics, Solids, Prints, Yarn-dyed, Handloom, Power Loom, Mill made, Recycled, Sustainable and Organic Fabrics.
QUALITY SYSTEMS
Milano has a comprehensive Quality Assurance Policy which is integral to our manufacturing processes from Yarn to Fabric and to the final product stage.
We follow a stringent system of checking and Quality Control Procedures at all stages of Fabric Manufacturing, Processing, Testing, Cutting, Stitching, Embroidery, Production and Final Packing.
Our In-house Textile Laboratory is used for testing each and every batch of Fabric as per the Customers requirement.
COMPLIANCES
Our Factory is ethically audited by Omega Compliance, Disney & other International Auditing Agencies. We have received numerous Awards over the years for Outstanding Export Performance.
